Job Opportunity: Research Nurse Coordinator

Location: Indiana (On-site required)

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday

We are seeking a Research Nurse Coordinator to join a dedicated and compassionate team focused on innovative research and life-changing treatments for individuals with complex health conditions. What You Will Do:

As a Research Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in executing research studies in compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines. You'll collaborate with investigators, study sponsors, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, ethical research that improves patient outcomes and advances clinical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of clinical research studies from initiation to close-out.
  • Assess patient eligibility based on inclusion/exclusion criteria and ensure informed consent is properly obtained and documented.
  • Collaborate with physicians, finance, and care teams to develop study budgets, manage billing, and monitor visit completion and reimbursements.
  • Prepare and submit study-related documentation (protocols, consent forms, regulatory paperwork) and maintain IRB compliance.
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors and monitors.
  • Track and report adverse events and assist with sponsor audits or regulatory reviews.
  • Support quality assurance efforts and identify trends across studies.

Qualifications:

  • RN or LPN licensed in the state of Indiana (required)
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ clinical or research experience
  • Experience with pharmaceutical-sponsored studies highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, informed consent processes, and clinical documentation
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and automobile insurance (some travel required)
  • Willingness to use multi-factor authentication on personal smart devices for system access
